Current champions Chicago Cubs, lost one of his most valuable players last Wednesday by an injury. Kris Bryant left the game against the Atlanta Braves at the SunTrust Park after hurting his finger right in the first inning. Hitting a one-out double in the inning, the ball fall away from the Braves pitcher R.A. Dickey, Bryant took off and tried to steal third base. In third base was the twenty-three years old Braves player Johan Camargo. Apparently Bryant finger collided with Camargo’s shoe.
Bryant was in pain for a couple of seconds before walking off the field. Later during the game, it got announced that Bryant was hurted severely in the ring finger of his left hand. Got replaced by Tommy La Stella at third base in the bottom of the first inning. Unfortunately, this is not the first time an accident happened to Bryant. Last season, he suffered an accident with a head-first slide after hitting his head with the player of the Brewers Jean Segura and experiencing pain for some days.
With only twenty-five years, Bryant is the current National League MVP. Hitting .275 with 40 RBIs, an AB of 319 and 19 home runs in his pocket. Born in Las Vegas and debuted in professional baseball April 17th of 2015 with the Chicago CubS, he has won many awards like NL All-Star, NL Rookie of the Year, NL MVP, etc. The Cubs had won all their games after the All-Star Game that took place this month of July.
