Game 1 of the best-of-seven series will be played at Kauffman Stadium and will be on October 27, 2015.

The match will start at 8:07 PM ET.

Those two teams will be the Kansas City Royals making their second straight World Series appearance as the American Leaguerepresentative and the New York Mets representing the National League for the first time since 2000. These two teams had some different routes to this Fall Classic, however. The Mets made quick work of the Cubs in the NLCScompleting the four-game sweep, while the Royals had a little bit more work to do disposing of the Blue Jays, but ultimately got it done in six-games.

This is the first World Series ever that at least one of the teams is not one of the original 16 franchises.

Both of these teams have a significant amount of time off before this series gets going on Tuesday, so it will be interesting to see how these teams respond. Most of the champagne should have worn off by Tuesday. The Mets last played on Wednesday while the Royals last played Friday.

With the American League winning the All Star Game, they will have home field advantage which means games one, two, six* and seven* will be played in Kansas City while games three, four, and five* will be played at Citi Field in New York. (* if necessary). All games start at 8:00 p.m. EST

Yale Bulldogs at Pennsylvania Quakers

Yale Bulldogs at Pennsylvania QuakersCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

Where: Franklin Field, Philadelphia
When: Friday, October 23, 7:00 PM ET
Line: Yale Bulldogs vs. Penn Quakers

The Yale Bulldogs are now playing catchup in the Ivy League conference after losing to Dartmouth a couple of weeks ago. Of course it would help their cause if Harvard and Dartmouth both lose this coming Saturday, but that won’t matter if they were ambushed by the Penn Quakers this Friday.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the best online gambling options, check it now!

The Bulldogs are just fine. After suffering its first loss of the season, Yale got back in the win column with a gutsy 21-10 over Maine on last Saturday.

Yale, which lost to Dartmouth on October 10, got a big hand from Deshawn Salter in the win over Maine, as the sophomore running back went off for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries. Salter can expect a ton of workload again this coming Friday, considering that Penn’s flimsy defense that allows 174.6 rushing yards per game.

The Quakers sure could use a big win for some momentum, as they prepare for a match with Ivy League powerhouse, Yale. Following back-to-back defeats to Dartmouth and Fordham, respectively, Penn managed to put an end to its slump when it crushed Columbia last Saturday, 42-7.

Against Columbia, the Quakers rode a balanced offensive attack to notch just their second win of the season. On one hand, there was quarterback Alek Torgersen, who passed for 270 yards and three touchdowns on 19 pf 29 attempts. Wide receiver Christian Pearson, who only had 66 receiving yards prior to the contest, came out of nowhere and hauled down 10 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Lucie Safarova qualifies for WTA Finals

Lucie SafarovaCheck WagerWeb and find the best online betting site!!!!

Lucie Safarova grabbed the last spot at the WTA finals Thursday after Carla Suarez Navarro lost to a qualifier at the Kremlin Cup.

Suarez Navarro could have qualified for the season-ending tournament in Singapore by reaching the final in Moscow but was beaten 6-1, 6-2 by Russia’s Daria Kasatkina in the quarterfinals.

Safarova, who had already qualified for the WTA Finals doubles with partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands, will make her debut in the tournament after a standout year where she reached the final of the French Open.

She also won the Australian Open and French Open doubles titles with the American.

From Online Betting, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

World number one Serena Williams, who narrowly missed out on a rare calendar Grand Slam, decided earlier this month that she would not be defending her WTA Finals title, citing the need to allow her body to heal.

Safarova joins Simona Halep, Garbine Muguruza, Maria Sharapova, Petra Kvitova, Agnieszka Radwanska, Angelique Kerber and Flavia Pennetta in the Singapore singles field.

“I am really excited to qualify for the WTA Finals for the first time,” Safarova said.” It has been a dream year and to be one of the eight qualifiers in singles and also compete in the doubles is something that makes me very proud.

“There have already been so many highlights this year, and I hope to finish it playing some more great tennis in front of the amazing Singapore crowd.”

Pennetta is also set to make her maiden appearance in singles at the championships. The reigning US Open champion decided against retiring following her New York victory in order to give herself the opportunity to play in Singapore for the very first time.

“Qualifying for the WTA Finals is a dream come true and the perfect way to end to an amazing season for me,” Pennetta said.

“It will also be a wonderful way for me to say to say goodbye to tennis – it’s a spectacular stage to bow out on. Having won the WTA Finals before in doubles, I can’t wait to make my debut in singles.”

Timea Bacsinszky and Venus Williams will serve as the first and second alternates in the singles action respectively.

Temple Owls at East Carolina Pirates

Temple Owls at East Carolina PiratesCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

Start Time: 7:00 P.M. ET, Thursday, Oct. 22

Location: Dowdy Ficklen Stadium, Greenville, North Carolina

Line: East Carolina -3. Over/Under: 52.
Last time the East Carolina Pirates were on the field, they established a balanced attack that defeated the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. James Summers had important action and the defense was heavily involved. Most of Tulsa’s points came in the fourth quarter with the game out of reach.

Now the Pirates return to the field to face the most obnoxious loss on last year’s schedule. Last year, the Pirates dominated the Owls statistically but gave away the ball too many times. The result was a Temple win and the beginning of the season’s derailment.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the best online gambling options, check it now!

No. 22 Temple is one of three American teams that has yet to lose, averting disaster last week versus UCF. But East Carolina realizes that it can move to the top of the East Division, replacing the Owls, with an upset Thursday night in Greenville. The Pirates have yet to lose at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in 2015, including a win over Virginia Tech on Sept. 26. And Temple shares similarities with the Hokies, a team whose identity is deeply rooted in a talented and physical defense.

The Tyler Matakevich-led D began the year by shutting down Penn State, and they’ve remained nasty ever since. Temple allows just under 15 points per game, holding opponents to three yards a carry and a 50% completion percentage. And it beats teams up. East Carolina, on the other hand, is No. 10 in American run defense, encouraging news for Owl RB Jahad Thomas, who’s rushed for 756 yards and 10 scores in six games.

East Carolina, in front of its home fans, is going to play with something to prove this week. The Pirates are no strangers to delivering upsets, and the blend of Kemp and Summers could be just what the offense needs to convert in crunch time against the Temple defense. The American will lose one of its unbeaten teams this week, while the East Division becomes a race again.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ersCheck WagerWeb and find the best online betting site!!!!

The San Francisco 49ers face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 of the regular season. The game takes place on Thursday, October 22 at 5:25 p.m. PT at Levi’s® Stadium.

Both teams enter the contest with 2-4 records. So this game isn’t just another chapter of this heated rivalry but also, perhaps, a last chance for either team to save its playoff chances in 2015.

From Online Betting, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

The Seahawks were pegged by many to make a triumphant return to the Super Bowl again this season after their heartbreaking loss last year but with the way things are going at the moment things are bleak and they could very well find themselves with a sub .500 record when it’s all said and done. The Hawks haven’t been able to utilize Jimmy Graham in the way he was used in New Orleans and Marshawn Lynch has had to battle injury woes and as such they are just 2-4 on the year and are three games behind the Arizona Cardinals. Russell Wilson needs to get this group together and put their frustrations aside or things might get even uglier as Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman were at each others throats last week and that could be the beginning of the end of the Legion of Doom.
The Niners meanwhile sport an identical 2-4 mark and head into Thursday night’s game as a four point underdog. San Fran hasn’t been able to get things going under Jim Tomsula and while they have some play makers on the offensive side of the ball we haven’t seen a breakout from them yet. Carlos Hyde has been the line bright spot for the Niners this season as he will continue to be one of the game’s better runners moving forward but with San Fran playing from behind a lot his yards haven’t been as impacting and as such San Fran is well back of Arizona and are a long shot to even finish with eight wins this season.

LAST MEETING

The 49ers officially were eliminated from playoff contention when they fell 17-7 at Seattle on Dec. 14. It also marked the final straw for coach Jim Harbaugh, who later said he learned after this game that his tenure officially would end after two more games. That fate seemed sealed 17 days earlier, anyhow, when the 49ers lost 19-3 at home on Thanksgiving, a defeat that prompted CEO Jed York to apologize on Twitter to fans.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals – Game 5

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals Check WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 4:07 pm (Rogers Centre)

E Volquez (14-10) (3.52) vs. M Estrada (14-9) (3.13)

The Line: Toronto Blue Jays -152 / Kansas City Royals +130

The Jays, who were blown out by the Kansas City Royals in Game 4 of the American League, now need to win three straight games to make it to the World Series. That battle starts today at the Rogers Centre at 4 p.m. ET.

Great pitching and a potent offense led the Kansas City Royals to a 14-2 win at the Rogers Centre and a 3-2 lead in the ALCS. Starter Chris Young gave up both runs on three hits over 4.2 frames before four relievers held the Blue Jays off the scoreboard. The KC offense did the rest with a 15 hit, five walk attack that saw Alex Rios go solo with Ben Zobrist going deep and driving in two and scoring twice. Alcides Escobar and Lorenzo Cain combined for seven RBI’s as every starter drove in runs or scored. Edinson Volquez shoots for his second win of the ALCS against the Blue Jays Wednesday. Volquez defeated Toronto 5-0 on two hits and four BB over six innings pitched.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the best online gambling options, check it now!

The Toronto Blue Jays had their offense going in game three’s victory but  couldn’t carry over the momentum in Tuesday’s one sided defeat. Neither the arms or bats came through with starter RA Dickey charged with five runs on two homers through 1.2 innings. Three of the next five relievers were tagged for nine runs and that was  far too much for the Toronto offense to overcome. The Blue Jays mustered seven hits and walked twice with Jose Bautista and Josh Donaldson driving in runs while Ben Revere and Ryan Goins scored. The Blue Jays hope to keep their season alive when they send Marco Estrada to the mound. Estrada dropped a 5-0 decision to Kansas City in the ALCS with three runs scored on six hits over 5.1 frames.

Kansas City are 7-2 in their last 9 road games and are 7-3 in their last 10 games following a win while going  21-9 in Volquezs last 30 starts. The over is 7-0-4 in Toronto’s last 11 on astroturf and the over is 5-0-3 in their last 8 home games while going 6-1-1 in their last 8 games following a loss. Kansas City are 2-6 in the last 8 meetings in Toronto.

Online Gambling and Sports Betting

online gamblingCheck WagerWeb and find the best online betting site!!!!

Betting real money on sports is one of the world’s favorite pastimes. By some estimates people wager over $250 billion dollars a year on sports, with $100 million bet on the Super Bowl alone.

The reason sports betting is so popular is because it makes watching sports more exciting, and it can also be lucrative for those who take the time to learn about odds, picking winners, line shopping and how to use online bonuses profitably.

Regardless of exactly why you choose to bet on sports, quite obviously you are going to be happier when you win than when you lose. Sadly, there is nothing we can do to ensure that you win every wager that you place – as much as we’d like to. What we can do, however, is give you some advice that will help improve your chances of winning money.

From Online Betting, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

Betting online is without a doubt the easiest and most convenient way to place wagers on sporting events. Probably the hardest part is deciding which sites to join, simply because there are so many to choose from. Most of them are perfectly decent, so providing you steer clear of the few questionable ones you won’t go too far wrong. However, ideally you want to be using the highest quality ones as these are the places where you will get the best possible experience.

This is where the challenge comes in – knowing which ones are the high quality sites. We can help you with that, as we provide rankings of the very best of them in a number of different categories. Based on extensive research and thorough testing we can tell you exactly which places you should be joining.

It’s often tempting to make complicated and advanced wagers to try and get a big win. While we would not go as far as to say you should never make such wagers, there is a lot to be said for keeping it simple and sticking to the simple bets. This is certainly true when you are starting out. You can always start experimenting with the more complex wagers once you have some experience behind you.

Most sports betting sites offer bonuses to new customers to encourage them to sign up and also reward regular customers for their loyalty. The bonuses and rewards available are one of the major benefits of betting online and you should always try and take advantage of them when you can. Many places also run special promotions where there is even more extra value on offer and it’s worth keeping an eye out for them.

Bonuses, rewards and promotions can make a big difference of how much money you make, so spending some time working out how to get the most out of them is time well spent.

The important thing is to remain patient and stay focused on the long term goal. You’ll need to put in the necessary time and effort, learn from any mistakes that you do make, be honest about what you’re doing right and where you are going wrong, and practice good money management. If you do all that then there is no reason why you can’t be successful in the long run.
