Missouri Tigers at Arkansas Razorbacks

Missouri Tigers at Arkansas RazorbacksCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Missouri Tigers face off on Friday in SEC college football action. The Hogs are a favorite in the game, but between the weather and the Tiger’s bowl eligibility hanging in the balance, I am worried about this game. The Razorbacks have had a much better offense, but Mizzou’s defense is statistically one of the best in the SEC.

Missouri would not be in prime position to get a bowl invitation. The Tigers are 5-6, needing another win to lock up bowl eligibility, and are 14-point underdogs against Arkansas. Because essentially every SEC team with a .500 or better record is guaranteed to play in the postseason, a win Friday would normally be a win-and-in game for Missouri, but a must-win to get a bowl berth.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

The Arkansas Razorbacks appeared to be headed for their seventh win of the season last Saturday against Mississippi State but then some of the worst coaching strategy anyone will ever see took a win and made it a loss. Arkansas head Coach Brett Bielema decided it was more important to have MSU burn timeouts than score a touchdown with a first down from the 12-yard line and it eventually led to a blocked field goal that sealed the Hogs fate. The Arkansas offense is averaging 35.8 points and 470.2 yards per game and they have turned the ball over nine times. Razorbacks QB Brandon Allen has completed 65.1 percent of his passes with 29 touchdowns and six interceptions. Alex Collins is Arkansas’ leading rusher with 1,262 yards and 14 touchdowns and Drew Morgan leads in receptions with 52 10 touchdowns and Hunter Henry has 44 catches. The Arkansas defense is allowing 30 points and 425.3 yards per game with nine interceptions, seven fumble recoveries, and 15 sacks. Brooks Ellis leads Arkansas with 95 tackles, Dre Greenlaw has 88 tackles, and Deatrich Wise has 6.0 sacks. Arkansas is already bowl eligible but this has been a disappointing season delivered by one of the highest paid Head Coaches in the nation.
The Missouri Tigers are 5-6 this season and need a win here to extend Gary Pinkel’s career into bowl season. Missouri is averaging 14.5 points and 290.9 yards per game with 16 turnovers. Mizzou QB Drew Lock has completed 50.8 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and seven interceptions. Ish Witter leads the Tigers in rushing with 517 yards and Nate Brown and J’Mon Moore each have 27 receptions. The Missouri defense is allowing 15.1 points and 301.3 yards per game with eight interceptions, seven fumble recoveries, and 27 sacks. Kentrell Brother leads Missouri in tackles with 140, Michael Scherer has 85 tackles, and Charles Harris has 7.0 sacks. Missouri’s offense has let down their defense this season.

Arkansas is 5-1 against the spread in their last six SEC games, 8-3 against the spread following a loss, and 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games. Missouri is 7-0 against the spread following a double-digit home loss, 15-5 against the spread in their last 20 road games, and 2-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record.

Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys

Carolina Panthers at Dallas CowboysCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

The undefeated Carolina Panthers are at the Dallas Cowboys in a Thanksgiving Day special featuring marquee quarterbacks Cam Newton and Tony Romo, to say nothing of the Greg Hardy connection. Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. Thursday

Carolina is one of just two undefeated teams remaining in the NFL and quarterback Cam Newton is being considered for the MVP due to his outstanding play this season. Newton has always been a strong runner at quarterback, but this season his passing is much improved.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

The Cowboys now have Tony Romo back under center after missing 7 games, Dallas is four games under .500 but is still in the running to win the NFC East, trailing the New York Giants by just two games.

Tony Romo led Dallas to its first win in 8 games last weekend defeating Miami 24-14.

Carolina beat two opponents in the NFC East – Washington and Philadelphia – handily and brings the league’s third highest scoring offense, but faces four of their next five games away from home.

The Carolina defense, albeit not as strong as previous years, is rounding into form and has a strong front seven against the run.

Greg Hardy the defensive end for Dallas will be facing his former team for just the first time since he left last offseason. Carolina will have its talented defensive end Charles Johnson activated to play and give Romo a hard time with his pass rush.

Dallas will look to run the ball with Darren McFadden to take the early pressure off Romo and open passing lanes for him to hit Dez Bryant down field and Jason Witten over the middle.

Dallas has won five straight games outright against Carolina. However, the two teams have not played head to head since October of 2012.

This is probably one of those games that has a score of something like 7-6 after three quarters, as the two defenses battle it out.

Three keys to watch

Can the Panthers keep Hardy off Newton?

This is the game everyone circled when schedules were released in April. The return of Tony Romo makes it more interesting, but all eyes will be on the Cowboys defensive end.

Forcing a Romo moment.

Romo remains one of the game’s great gunslingers. He’s never met a throwing window he didn’t think he could zip a pass through. That has led to plenty of late-game drama – good and bad.

Linebacker play will be key

There might be more interesting matchups (start with Dez Bryant vs. Josh Norman), but this game could be decided by which team best stops the run. Both teams rank among the league’s top eight rushing offenses, with the Panthers’ Jonathan Stewart and Dallas’ Darren McFadden both coming off 100-yard games

The Falcons (7-2, 5-0 MAC) are on a roll having won six straight games, including five against MAC opponents. Bowling Green’s latest victim was the Ohio Bobcats, whom they dismantled 62-24 at home last week. Matt Johnson poured it on for the Falcons, connecting on 26 of his 35 passes for 365 yards and four touchdowns. Travis Green rolled over the Bobcats defense (13 car, 106 yards and 3 TD), while the duo of Gehrig Dieter (9 rec, 136 yards, 2 TD) and Roger Lewis (6 rec, 102 yards, TD) shined for the Falcons. Ohio did make it competitive early, tying the game at 14 early in the second quarter, but Bowling Green exploded from that point on, outscoring the Bobcats 48-10.

The Broncos (6-3, 5-0 MAC) are the other undefeated squad in conference play, having won five straight conference games. Western Michigan put a 50-spot on a team for the second straight week as the Broncos blew out Ball Sate 54-7 at home. The trio of Zach Terrell (16-of-22, 324 yards, 3 TD), Jamauri Bogan (18 car, 171 yards, 2 TD) and Corey Davis (7 rec, 163 yards, 3 TD) were unstoppable as they helped the Broncos record a school-record 711 yards of total offense. Western Michigan scored 40 unanswered points until the Cardinals notched their first score with 3:02 left in the third quarter. The Bronco defense also put up a solid effort, limiting the Cardinals to just 152 yards of total offense, which was the first time the Broncos have held a team under 200 yards since 2011 and the lowest total overall since 2007, when they held Temple to 146.

Bowling Green and Western Michigan will square off for the 53rd time Wednesday night with the Falcons leading the all-time series 38-18-3. The Broncos have won the last four meetings and nine of the last 12.

East Carolina Pirates at Connecticut HuskiesCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST. Friday, October 30.

Location: Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, East Hartford, Connecticut

Line: East Carolina -7.5. Over/Under: 50.5.

The Eastern Carolina Pirates will travel to Rentschler Field to take on the Connecticut Huskies this Friday night in College Football action.

The Eastern Carolina Pirates couldn’t hold on to a 14-10 4th quarter lead and dropped to 4-4 (2-2 American East) on the season after being defeated by the 22nd ranked Temple Owls, 24-14, this past Thursday. The Pirates were able to outgain the Owls by a 378-322 margin however committed two turnovers and allowed Temple to block a key punt late in the 4th that led to game clinching TD for the Owls. Leading the way for the Pirates was WR Isaiah Jones who had 106 yards on 10 receptions in the loss.

On the season, Eastern Carolina is averaging 29.9 ppg on 426.0 yards per game (286.3 passing, 139.8 rushing). The Pirates have used two QB’s throughout the season as they have a throwing QB in Blake Kemp (70.1 comp %, 1828 yards, 11 TD, 7 INT) and a duel-threat QB in James Summers (Throwing: 66.7 comp %, 428 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT, Rushing: 60 carries, 383 yards, 6 TD). RB Chris Harrison is the main threat in the backfield and currently has 525 yards and 7 TD on 119 carries. Defensively, Eastern Carolina is allowing their opponents to average 29.1 ppg on 413.3 yards per game (241.5 passing, 171.8 rushing). The Pirates have had trouble with turnovers as they’ve committed 15 turnovers on the season and have a turnover margin of minus 6. Leading the way for the defense has been LB Zeek Bigger who has 65 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

The Connecticut Huskies had trouble stopping the high-powered Cincinnati offense and dropped to 3-5 (1-3 American East) on the season after being defeated 37-13 by the Bearcats this past Saturday. The Huskies were outgained by an incredible 612-266 margin and committed two turnovers in the loss. QB Bryant Shirreffs struggled throwing the ball as he completed just 12 of 27 passes for 87 yards and a INT however did lead the way for the Huskies as he was able to rush for 90 yards on 17 carries. On the season, the Huskies have had trouble finding ways to put points on the board as they are averaging just 19.0 ppg on 342.1 yards per game (221.6 passing, 120.5 rushing). Leading the way for the offensive has been RB duo of Arkeel Newsome (83 carries, 412 yards, 4 TD; 33 receptions, 345 yards, 2 TD) and Ron Johnson (70 carries, 150 yards, 4 TD). QB Bryant Shirreffs has completed 62.0% of his passes for 1723 yards, 7 TD and 5 INT while rushing for 342 yards and 2 TD on 113 carries. Noel Thomas is the leading receiver for the Huskies as he has 493 yards and a TD on 37 receptions. Defensively, Connecticut is holding their opponents to 22.1 ppg on 388.5 yards per game (204.0 passing, 184.5 rushing). The Huskies currently have a plus 5 turnover margin and have been led defensively by DB Jhavon Williams (37 tackles, 3 INT) and DB Andrew Adams (65 tackles, 2 INT).

The Pirates are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games following a S.U. loss however, just 2-10 ATS in their last 12 conference games. The Huskies are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Friday games however, just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games.
Why East Carolina Will Win

The Pirate offense was derailed by Temple, but it was just a brief detour. And now that the Huskies have begun showing cracks on D, yielding 612 yards to Cincinnati on Saturday, ECU is poised to get back on track. The staff has done a nice job of mixing the quarterbacks, passer Blake Kemp and runner James Summers, and the skill talent is much more diverse than it is at UConn.

Why Connecticut Will Win

Sure, the Huskies are a one-note, spotty offense that relies too heavily on QB Bryant Shirreffs. However, the Pirates have been anything but consistent on defense through the first eight games. It’s a beatable unit that’s going to be challenged by not only Shirreffs, but also RB Arkeel Newsome and WR Noel Thomas.

Player Who Matters

Summers took a backseat to Kemp last week because of how difficult it is to run on the Owls. But the Huskies are giving up more than 4.7 yards per carry, while being gashed the last two weekends. The Pirates will want to unleash the shiftiness of Summers, while also giving more touches to backs Chris Hairston and Anthony Scott.

Yale Bulldogs at Pennsylvania Quakers

Yale Bulldogs at Pennsylvania QuakersCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

Where: Franklin Field, Philadelphia
When: Friday, October 23, 7:00 PM ET
Line: Yale Bulldogs vs. Penn Quakers

The Yale Bulldogs are now playing catchup in the Ivy League conference after losing to Dartmouth a couple of weeks ago. Of course it would help their cause if Harvard and Dartmouth both lose this coming Saturday, but that won’t matter if they were ambushed by the Penn Quakers this Friday.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the best online gambling options, check it now!

The Bulldogs are just fine. After suffering its first loss of the season, Yale got back in the win column with a gutsy 21-10 over Maine on last Saturday.

Yale, which lost to Dartmouth on October 10, got a big hand from Deshawn Salter in the win over Maine, as the sophomore running back went off for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries. Salter can expect a ton of workload again this coming Friday, considering that Penn’s flimsy defense that allows 174.6 rushing yards per game.

The Quakers sure could use a big win for some momentum, as they prepare for a match with Ivy League powerhouse, Yale. Following back-to-back defeats to Dartmouth and Fordham, respectively, Penn managed to put an end to its slump when it crushed Columbia last Saturday, 42-7.

Against Columbia, the Quakers rode a balanced offensive attack to notch just their second win of the season. On one hand, there was quarterback Alek Torgersen, who passed for 270 yards and three touchdowns on 19 pf 29 attempts. Wide receiver Christian Pearson, who only had 66 receiving yards prior to the contest, came out of nowhere and hauled down 10 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Temple Owls at East Carolina Pirates

Temple Owls at East Carolina PiratesCheck WagerWeb and find the best betting site!!!!

Start Time: 7:00 P.M. ET, Thursday, Oct. 22

Location: Dowdy Ficklen Stadium, Greenville, North Carolina

Line: East Carolina -3. Over/Under: 52.
Last time the East Carolina Pirates were on the field, they established a balanced attack that defeated the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. James Summers had important action and the defense was heavily involved. Most of Tulsa’s points came in the fourth quarter with the game out of reach.

Now the Pirates return to the field to face the most obnoxious loss on last year’s schedule. Last year, the Pirates dominated the Owls statistically but gave away the ball too many times. The result was a Temple win and the beginning of the season’s derailment.

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the best online gambling options, check it now!

No. 22 Temple is one of three American teams that has yet to lose, averting disaster last week versus UCF. But East Carolina realizes that it can move to the top of the East Division, replacing the Owls, with an upset Thursday night in Greenville. The Pirates have yet to lose at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in 2015, including a win over Virginia Tech on Sept. 26. And Temple shares similarities with the Hokies, a team whose identity is deeply rooted in a talented and physical defense.

The Tyler Matakevich-led D began the year by shutting down Penn State, and they’ve remained nasty ever since. Temple allows just under 15 points per game, holding opponents to three yards a carry and a 50% completion percentage. And it beats teams up. East Carolina, on the other hand, is No. 10 in American run defense, encouraging news for Owl RB Jahad Thomas, who’s rushed for 756 yards and 10 scores in six games.

East Carolina, in front of its home fans, is going to play with something to prove this week. The Pirates are no strangers to delivering upsets, and the blend of Kemp and Summers could be just what the offense needs to convert in crunch time against the Temple defense. The American will lose one of its unbeaten teams this week, while the East Division becomes a race again.

The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns figured to at least  challenge in the Sun Belt but a 2-3 start has many thinking differently. The Ragin’ Cajuns did open conference action with a one sided 49-27 win versus visiting Texas State behind a 526-351 yardage edge with both teams returning kicks for scores. Elijah MGuire was a force on the ground for the Ragin’ Cajuns with 170 yards on 28 carries with a TD with Torrey Pierce adding 56 yards and another score. Quarterback Jalen Nixon gave ULL an efficient and productive passing game with a 22-29 effort for 238 yards and three touchdowns with Al Riles catching nine balls for 98 yards and a TD while Jamal Robinson snagged a pair of scoring strikes

From College Football, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the best online gambling options, check it now!

The Arkansas State Red Wolves looked dead in the water before a pick six and fumble recovery for another TD led the way to a 49-31 victory at South Alabama. ASU led 345-302 in yardage and forced a whopping five turnovers to win going away. The return of quarterback Fredi Knighten gave the Red Wolves a lift as he completed 10-17 for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns with Tres Houston snagging three balls for 59 and a score. Warren Wand was the best Arkansas State rushing option with 85 yards on 14 touches while Johnston White totaled 46 yards on nine carries with a pair of trips to the end zone.

The under is 4-0 in Ragin’ Cajuns last 4 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game and the Ragin’ Cajuns are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games while the under is 7-1 in Ragin’ Cajuns last 8 games on fieldturf. The over is 4-0 in Red Wolves last 4 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and the Red Wolves are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game while the over is 6-0 in Red Wolves last 6 vs. a team with a losing record. The Ragin’ Cajuns are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings while the  Ragin’ Cajuns are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Arkansas State.

Southern Miss Golden Eagles at Marshall Thundering HerdCheck WagerWeb and find the best online betting site!!!!

Start Time: 7:00 P.M. ET, Friday, Oct. 9

Location: Joan C. Edwards Stadium, Huntington, West Virginia

Records: Southern Miss 3-2, Marshall 4-1. The overall series is tied 5-5.

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles (3-2) look to take another step forward when they play the Marshall Thundering Herd (4-1) on Friday.

This week’s matchup between the Marshall Thundering Herd (4-1) and the Southern Miss Golden Eagles (3-2) will give the Thundering Herd a chance to continue their three-game winning streak. The nation’s fifth-leading passer, Nick Mullens (1,691 yards, 14 TDs), will be key to the outcome of this contest. Having won three of their last four, Southern Miss enters the week looking to add to its recent success. The game will begin Friday, Oct 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET

From Online Sportsbook, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

Marshall blew out Old Dominion 27-7 last week. Ryan Yurachek had a solid outing in the win, registering six receptions for 63 yards and one TD. DeAndre Reaves added 70 receiving yards on six receptions. Not to be outdone, Southern Miss routed North Texas 49-14. Mike Thomas had an outstanding performance for the Golden Eagles, totaling seven receptions for 155 yards and three TDs. Nick Mullens also had a big day, contributing 325 yards and four TDs through the air.

The Thundering Herd, a six-point favorite, will be looking to defend their home field when Southern Miss visits. The Over/Under (O/U) for the matchup is presently unavailable.

The Thundering Herd enter the game with records of 4-1 Straight Up (SU) and 3-2 Against The Spread (ATS) this season. Marshall usually finishes games strong, averaging 9.8 points in the fourth quarter.

Across the field, it’s hard to argue Southern Miss’s success ATS. The Golden Eagles are doing something right with a 5-0 record ATS to go along with a 3-2 record SU this season.

Memphis Tigers at South Florida Bulls

Memphis Tigers at South Florida BullsCheck WagerWeb and find the best online betting site!!!!

The Memphis Tigers will travel to take on the South Florida Bulls on Friday night. Memphis (4-0) will look to remain unbeaten as they take on South Florida (1-2) who is coming off consecutive losses against Florida State and Maryland.

Memphis comes in with a 4-0 record so far this season, scoring an average of almost 54 points per game, with the low mark on the year being 44 points against Bowling Green on the road.  The 4-0 start is the best in school history since the 1961 season for Memphis and Tiger fans are looking to go bowling in a nice climate later this year.

From Online Sportsbook, Casino Betting, Racebook Gambling, WagerWeb offers you the online gambling option.

The Tigers are in a bit of a sandwich game as they knocked off Cincinnati last week and have Ole Miss coming to town next game. There’s the potential for a big look-ahead with the Rebels storming into town, but that is still more than two weeks away as the Tigers are on bye next week.

South Florida is coming off one but they are 1-2 on the campaign, both of those losses came on the road at Florida State and Maryland. Each of those teams out-gained South Florida by close to 300 yards, which doesn’t bode well for them as Memphis piles up a ton of yards.

Defensively Memphis is certainly susceptible to giving up tons of yards, allowing opponents better than 450 per game, but South Florida really isn’t a vertical threat. The Bulls average just 155 yards passing each game, though the run game has been solid behind Marlon Mack and the gang of running backs.
